CORRIE WORSTED
La Bien Aimée is releasing its first Worsted weight yarn base, Corrie Worsted, and we couldn't be more excited! For a long time now, Aimee has wanted to develop a Worsted base, and when Helix came around, she knew she wanted to create a thicker version of this yarn we love so much. Instead of Falkland Merino, Aimee opted for Corriedale, just as soft and durable, as it blooms so beautifully when it's knit up and blocked. The Gotland wool adds the black fiber that create the heathered grey base of Helix and Corrie Worsted and gives such depth to our hand-dyed colors. A light grey base color, we have dyed 30 of our best-selling tonal colors on it, including a few new colorways such as Avoine and Bone, Payne's Grey, Mist, Moria, Olive Juice and Belle Rose.

Each designer has imagined a design that corresponds to their aesthetic and highlights so beautifully the drape and texture of Corrie Worsted.
